Day 1: An entire renovation and planting job in Worcester- We have an early start at a garden we have visited once before. The jobs include:
The garden took an incredible transformation in two days and the customers were very happy with the result! It was a full and tiring day but with careful organisation prior, everything went well and allotted jobs finished as planned.
Day 2: Planting and finishing the painting of the fence then tidying everything down as though we were never there!- The plants were specific as the view facing the garden was a little girls bedroom and of course her favorite colour was pink, the plants were Roses, Dianthus, climbers and on one side a herb garden. Always our favorite jobs are the ones where we can see a complete transformation and to really surprise people by giving them a new space which can be used throughout the year. Good job to everyone involved!!!
We set out to Besford (near Pershore) for a general tidy at a regular and new customer then its off to Crowle (near Droitwich) for weeding of borders. This garden is great fun as there is so many animals… last count was 2 dogs, 4 cats and too many chickens to count!
Last job of the day was a visit to our customers next door. They had asked us to provide a selection of plants as well as carry out some weeding and tree work. This is another country garden full of animals and paddocks.
General jobs at our regular gardens in Kempsey including planting foxgloves and spraying weedkiller on a problem path. As with such a large grounds there is always plenty to get on with.
General up keep and maintenance in various gardens ready for the bank holiday weekend. The week finished we are feeling really positive as this season is really coming on with so much to do and so many people to work with…
Our new Honda mower, model ‘IZY’, has already proved to be a great investment. Its really helped us provide great lawn maintenance and keep our customers lawn looking great. It may be a big initial cost but it is important for us to keep the best equipment and to have it maintained regularly. Having this equipment means that job times are halved and we can get more done in our time…
