The Rill Garden

The Brief

Our clients had produced their own design with key features that they wanted to include. The existing garden was laid to lawn with a tiny patios. The client wanted key areas for planting, a walk way, and a water feature allowing for a summer house and separate dining and entertaining areas.

The Solution

Following discussions with the customers a great relationship was developed, with ideas and suggestions working both ways.
A large angular patio was laid to allow for outside seating flowing directly from the house.

To provide an additional seating area, composite decking was used to create a feature for a pergola area. This was completed by a living wall adding textures to the cedar clad wall.

Wooden structures provide a walk way laid to gravel to add height and depth to the walkways paved with gravel. Raised beds give additional height to planting.

The choice of a range of materials selected adds texture  and depth to the garden with the water feature reflecting the glow of the daylight.

The Outcome

A stunning garden that looks amazing at night with the lighting positioned to enhance the features and the planting. It has a multiple use for relaxing and entertaining following the line of the sun throughout the day. The different levels add depth and textures to the garden.
