Daniel Powell MCIHort – Owner
Daniel gained his qualification in Garden Design and Management at the well renowned Pershore College of Horticulture in 1997. His lecturer in Garden Design was BBC Gardener Chris Beardshaw and this set him up for a long and successful career in Garden Management and Horticulture.
After leaving Pershore in 2001, Daniel worked in the Horticultural industry and the plant retail sector gaining valuable customer service skills and developing his knowledge within the industry as well as within a wide range of plants.
Dan founded Instant Scenery in the Spring of 2010 having gained valued experience by designing and creating several award-winning gardens at various RHS flower shows including Chelsea, Malvern, BBC Gardeners World and also Hampton Court.
Tom Fuller – Garden Maintenance team
Tom joined the team in the Autumn of 2018 having both extensive knowledge and experience within the grounds and garden maintenance sector. Having also studied Horticulture at Pershore Tom has spent time in previous roles working as a green keeper, for garden maintenance companies and more recently as a grounds manager for a large private estate on the edge of the Cotswolds. Tom is further developing his qualifications in Horticulture and is attending Pershore College along with Ben and Tom II
Toms sense of humour, easy going demeanour and willingness to help both his colleagues and our customers means he has already become a vital part of instant scenery. His fondness for finding old pots and equipment as earned him the knickname ‘the magpie’
Tom Cording – Garden Maintenance Team
Tom two or Trev (two Toms is confusing) joined the Team at the start of 2018 and quickly proved to be a real asset to Instant Scenery. Having previous experience within another gardening company Tom has developed good relations with customers coupled with his excellent plant knowledge has quickly become a reason behind Instant Scenery’s growing success. He, like Ben & Tom III, is also studying to gain qualifications in horticulture at Pershore College of Horticulture.
Tom is passionate about the environment and his enthusiasm for gardening shows no limits as he runs an allotment at the weekends and often brings in his produce to share at lunchtimes.
Ben Cahill – Garden Maintenance & landscaping team member
Ben joined the Instant Scenery team in February of 2o18 and has quickly become an important member of the team who is liked by his colleagues and customers alike. Ben has previous experience of working in a landscaping company and is currently attendeding Pershore Horticultural College to gain qualifications within Horticulture and to further his plant and maintenance knowledge.
Ben is enthusiastic and passionate about creating landscapes to a high standard and he has quickly developed a great eye for detail. He has extensive building skills as well as in-depth knowledge of hard landscaping making him the perfect addition to the Instant Scenery team.
His friendly and outgoing approach has helped Instant Scenery to build a great reputation with our clients. Ben is well known for bringing many fresh, new ideas as well as developing and implementing them within our clients’ gardens, adding to our exceptional service.
Ben is always committed to every garden and prides himself on working to exceptionally high standards come rain or shine!
Jack Mann – Garden Maintenance Operative
The customers favourite and the baby of the group, Jack. He joined our team in 2016 and was the first young person to come through the Instant Scenery Apprenticeship scheme. He has grown and developed within his role with Instant Scenery.
Jack has now completed his Horticultural apprenticeship gaining recognition and awards for his outstanding attitude and approach to the course. He was one of 3 apprentices to win an award out of 2500 students. He has now started his level 3 in Horticulture at Pershore to complete his supervisor qualifications
Jack is motivated, willing to learn and he follows instructions well. He has excelled in his time with us and we have had excellent feedback, both on his high working standards and professional approach.
The main reason he is loved by all customers is he’s sense of humour and his willingness to help both his team and customers alike. Keep up the good work Jack.
Nicola Potter – Office Manager
Nicola Joined the team on a part time basis in spring 2018 but quickly proved her self to be an invaluable team member making her position permanent in the Summer of 2018.
Her outstanding customer service and organisational skills have helped keep customers informed on their projects gaining positive feedback from them.
She is very much the first contact any new customers have with us and keeps the rest of the team informed, organising the work schedule and implemented new procedures. Helping us, as a business, grow and develop further.
