Garden Maintenance/ Horticulturist

Full time on competition of a successful probationary period
Salary: £19,000.00-£21,500.00 per year

With a busy year ahead Instant scenery are looking for a full time and part time garden maintenance team members. We are an award -winning family business located in Kempsey. We are expanding our teams to deliver to the needs of our customers.

All of our team are trained through Pershore College ranging from HND’s to apprenticeships.

As part of the required role you will join the maintenance team who state:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of soft landscaping and garden maintenance jobs, as part of a team in a variety of domestic garden ranging from large estates to family gardens across the three counties.

Job Requirements

An exceptionally high standard of work is essential, and taskswill include:

  •  Maintaining large private estates and gardens
  • Pruning to correct horticultural standards.
  • Turfing and planting.
  • Maintaining large borders and weed control.
  • Mowing, feeding and maintaining ornamental lawns.
  • Hedge cutting and plant maintenance.

Key Skills

The successful candidate must have excellent practical skills although qualifications are not essential experience within horticulture is ideal. You must be able to demonstrate examples of delivering high standards ofskilled tasks. 

You must also be ambitious and passionate about creating and maintaining stunning gardens and want to be a part of a long-term successful team of career driven people.

  • You must work well as part of a team and be capable of delivering work independently.
  • Experience of using garden machinery with a good level ofHorticultural knowledge
  • A full driving licence is essential as you will be driving works vehicles.
  • Good communication skills

Additional Information

This is a salaried potential full-time position upon competitionof a successful probationary period., permanent PAYE position.

(Full time benefits include28 days paid annual holiday (Inc. bank holidays), Pension, bonus scheme,additional training and optional paid overtime. Company vehicles.
